The 2016 Office of Health Professional Education annual report is an overview of how training programs connect and collaborate with others for development of health professional education. It provides a roadmap of how and where health professional education at HealthPartners started, what we have accomplished, and how we are moving forward. The HealthPartners Institute Office of Health Professional Education (OHPE) is a systems-thinking team that is passionate about the value that health professional education adds to patient care, our health care system and the clinical learning environment. We emphasize the alignment of patient experience, quality improvement, and inter-professional learning. We strive to be a resource to resident physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical students, our clinician educators and partner programs in the community.
How do we do this?
We support training practice-ready clinicians to reach the goal of achieving the triple aim of improving health and well-being, experience and affordability for our members, patients, and the community. We also collaborate within the HealthPartners organization to develop strategy for training a workforce to meet the needs of patients and support future models of care. Our goal is to ensure this website meets your needs. Please share your feedback.
